Our Columbus Engine Center (CEC) is looking for your high-energy, motivation and dedication to lead our Team. Collaborating with the Associate Director of Engineering, you'll drive the engineers supporting the overhaul of the engines. Your engineering team includes Power-plant Engineers, Production Engineers, Process Engineers, along with interns, co-ops, and rotation engineers. We'll need you to be responsible for Engineering-related items that support Operations in the disassembly, assembly, and test of overhauled engines: Process Plans, Tooling Equivalencies, Engine Test Data, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Certification (ProCert), Repair Routers, and requests for Engine Manual updates/deviations/OTCs.


**Primary Duties/Responsibilities:**


+ Supporting Operations with Engineering-related tasks

+ Running with the support organizations (Quality, Customer Service, etc).

+ Growing and maintaining local Repair Station Procedures (RSPs) and Engineering Standard Work (ESW)

+ Managing 8-15 salary Engineers

+ Guiding, training, and developing the Engineering Team

+ Completing Root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions

+ Working with domestic & foreign Network overhaul shops and domestic foreign Customers/Lessors/Operators

+ Taking on the role of liaison with PW-OEM and PW-MRO contacts in East Hartford

+ Owning the War-on-Cost (WOC) Engineering initiatives for the engine line

+ Backing up/Deputy to the Associate Director-Engineering


**Relocation assistance is approved for this position.**

**Expected travel will be up to 20% (10% Domestic, 10% International)**


**Qualification:**


**Basic Qualifications:**


+ BS in an engineering discipline with 8+ years of experience

+ Masters with 5 + years' experience

+ 3+ years' managing or leading assembly, disassembly and testing of turbofan engines

+ Experience/Qualifications


**Preferred Qualifications:**


+ Ideally, you will have hands-on or field experience with the PW1100G

+ Previous management experience

+ Shown success developing professional relationships/rapport with PW-OEM East Hartford technical and program leadership

+ FAA145 MRO shop exposure/experience
