Cardiac Data Analyst

The **Cardiac Data Anaylyst** manages one or more cardiovascular clinical databases/registries. Must be knowledgeable of chart abstraction and data entry processes as well as registry definitions. Responsible for ensuring complete, accurate, timely abstraction of data elements as well as timely uploads of information to the assigned database(s)/registries. Responsible for data queries and formulation of reports. Acts as liaison to clinical areas involved in clinical practice related to the assigned database(s)/registries. Serves as an expert to promote compliance of regulatory, accreditation, and certification requirements for cardiovascular programs. Collaborates with hospital and system cardiac leaders to identify and monitor performance improvement activities. Shares responsibility for performance improvement related to the assigned database(s)/registries with the Director of Cardio VascularServices


+ **Required Minimum Education** **:** BSN required, Master's degree preferred.

+ **Required Minimum Experience** :Minimum of 2 years cardiac clinical care and 1 year registry management or previous experience with accrediting agency survey process.

+ **Required Minimum Certification** **:** Registered Nurse License (in good standing) in the state of Georgia **.**

+ **Required Minimum Skills** **:** Computer/data entry skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to read and understand the electronic medical record. Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. Must possess excellent communication and time management skills. Must have a basic understanding of performance improvement methodologies. Strong leadership, interpersonal, change management, and project management skills. Must have the ability to work independently and maintain focus on goal attainment. Must possess a solid understanding of team dynamics **.**
